10th Workshop on Fuel Cell Systems (Belgium)

16th May 2017 - 17th May 2017

£250

Bruges – University of Birmingham

Since 2008 this workshop series has been taking place to bring together industry, research and academia active in the field of Fuel Cell System technology.

The series of events started as the dissemination activity of the FP6 Integrated Project LargeSOFC, led by VTT in Finland. A strong emphasis therefore has always been put on high temperature fuel cells and especially SOFC technology for stationary applications. The workshop, nevertheless, has also had contributions from PEFC, electrolyser, and transport applications.

The main interest and motivation for the workshop is enabling exchange of information, state of the art, best practice, and novel developments on experiences from operating fuel cell systems, balance of plant components, operating strategies, lifetime and durability, and market development.

Participants will benefit from informal exchange between attendees, ample time for detailed discussions, technical insights, and access to some of the best worldwide knowledge in fuel cell systems. For personal and historical reasons, the workshop always takes place during May in the beautiful Belgian town of Brugge (Bruges).

The workshop has recently become a joint activity between the University of Birmingham and the VTT-led System-Working Group of the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Programme of EERA (European Energy Research Area).
