Scottish Transport Emissions Partnership Annual Conference

4th November 2015

Free

Wednesday 4 November, 2015

National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh

The 2015 Scottish Transport Emissions Partnership’s Annual Conference will build on the success of the STEP Conference 2014, and help to further widen engagement and collaboration between STEP and air quality stakeholders. STEP is delighted to announce that the Cleaner Air For Scotland (CAFS) strategy will be officially launched at our STEP Annual Conference on 4 November 2015 in Edinburgh. The opening conference keynote speech will be given by Dr Aileen McLeod, Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform.

Cleaner Air For Scotland will provide a national framework setting out how Scottish Government and its partner organisations propose to deliver further reductions in air pollution, and outlines the contribution that better air quality can make to sustainable economic growth, whilst improving health and the environment, and reducing health inequalities in Scotland.

This year’s STEP Conference will also include presentations from key organisations involved in the development and delivery of the strategy. There will also be a range of speakers and exhibitors from diverse backgrounds providing examples of best practice on air quality management from around the UK. Book your place now to learn all about the strategy, and hear from a variety of organisations involved in its development and delivery.

The conference is free to attend, but places are limited. If you would like to attend, please email sheri.dick@sepa.org.uk.
