H2FC SUPERGEN Researcher Conference: 16th-18th December, University of Birmingham

We are pleased to announce the H2FC Supergen are holding a ‘Researcher Conference’ from midday 16th December-midday 18th December 2013 at the University of Birmingham.

The conference aims to provide a platform for PhD students and early career researchers to present their work through talks and poster sessions, alongside leading academics and industrialists. The conference, in line with the ethos of H2FC Supergen, endeavours to bring together academics, industrialist and those working in government across the field of Hydrogen and Fuel Cells and will provide an excellent chance to network within the hydrogen and fuel cell communities.

So far, 2013 has seen the Hub expand to around 300 members including a Science Board of around 80 UK-based academics working in the field, an Advisory Board comprising 20 partners from industry and government, a Management Board of 10 academics, and around 200 Associate Members.  The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for Members of the Hub to meet and discuss the latest development in the sector. We would encourage academics to distribute this to their research groups and encourage attendance, as this will be a great opportunity for students and PDRAs to showcase their research.

More information about the conference will be distributed in the near future, including how to register and how PhD students/PDRAs/early career researchers  can submit entries for talks and posters. Accommodation will be available at the University of Birmingham.

Students can register for the conference here.

Non-students can register for the conference here.

Please do not hesitate in contacting Dr Chloe Stockford with any queries and we hope to see you in December.
