A conference for PhD students and early career researchers in hydrogen and fuel cell research
16th – 17th December 2019, University of Birmingham
The H2FC SUPERGEN is holding its 2019 Young Researchers Conference on the 16th – 17th December 2019 at the University of Birmingham. Join us at the most significant annual gathering of national hydrogen and fuel cell researchers in the United Kingdom.
Hydrogen and fuel cells research is gaining increased attention from both industry and governments globally. This conference will focus on current developments in research and technology, as well as providing insights on the progress of the sector through key representatives from industry and academia. Additional talks will feature fuel cell DTC and CDT alumni providing their PhD experience and career progression.
Call for Abstracts
We call for PhD students and early career researchers, along with academics and industrialists to send a one page abstract for either oral or poster presentations. The abstract should include a clear presentation title, authors’ names and affiliation as well as the details of the results to be presented by Monday 30th September 2019. Presentation themes
Researchers will be able to present under the following themes:
- High temperature fuel cells
- Low temperature fuel cells
- Hydrogen production and storage
- Fuel cell systems
- Electrochemistry and catalysis
- Materials for fuel cells
- Fundamentals of modelling
- Policy, economic and social aspects of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies
