Dear Clean Energy Community,
ISIS seeks to continually update and develop its suite of neutron and muon instruments, in order to respond to current research needs and to ensure it remains a world-leading neutron and muon source. The Endeavour programme at ISIS is upgrading and develop instruments over the next few years.
There are two user meetings of interest to H2FC Supergen members to learn more about the proposed instrument projects and to comment on these developments.
The meetings will be organised online using a Zoom link.
- Clean growth – energy and advanced engineering relevant materials (Thursday 1 July, 1.30pm BST)
- Materials for the future (Thursday 15 July, 1.30pm BST)
You can register for the meetings through this form.
Stephen Skinner (s.skinner@imperial.ac.uk) from Imperial College and Emma McCabe (emma.mccabe@durham.ac.uk) from Durham University have been asked to champion HRPD-X at these meetings and they would value your thoughts and feedback on the Endeavour programme and the HRPD-X proposal. Please email them (subject line “HRPD-X”) with your feedback.
The RSC-IOP Neutron Scattering Group is also keen to represent the user community so equally please feel free to contact them committee@ukneutron.org with any feedback.
